River Oaks Golf Community

In February of 2024, Chris Manning Communities sold the approximately 100 acre piece of land that currently houses the remaining 18 holes of the River Oaks Golf Course to Mungo Homes. There are plans to build approximately 220 single family homes on this parcel of land. Expectations are for the remaining 18 holes of the River Oaks Golf Course to remain open to the public for golf at least until the end of 2025.
The River Oaks Golf Community is located in Carolina Forest directly off of River Oaks Drive, Bella Vita and Berkshire Forest are two of the major subdivisions situated adjacent to the River Oaks Golf Community. Inverness will be nestled next to the River Oaks Golf Community once this new community is developed.
