Carrington Woods new home community in Longs by D. R. Horton
Carrington Woods is a new home community in Longs coming soon. D. R. Horton purchased this property in April of 2024. D. R. Horton has not yet announced their specific plans for development. As of May 2024, preliminary insight into Carrington Woods via Horry County Land records shows that the community is being platted for 90 single family homes.
Carrington Woods will be nestled between Highway 9 and Sun Colony Boulevard and will neighbor the Sun Colony community. Palmetto Greens, Colonial Place, Cloverleaf, The Retreat and the Lakes @ Plantation Pines are some of the other communities close to where Carrington Woods will be developed. Carrington Woods is conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 31 and Highway 17, simplifying the commute all around the Grand Strand.
