Haven View is a new home community in Murrells Inlet that started to sell in November of 2024. This property is located directly across McDowell Shortcut Road from another new D. R. Horton community - Ranch Haven. This new subdivision of Havenview in Murrells Inlet is adjacent to the Indigo Creek Golf Club and near the International Club.

The plan for the new home community of Haven View proposes 3 access points on McDowell Shortcut Road, average 50 foot wetland buffers, and a 35 foot streetscape buffer along McDowell Shortcut Road. The plan for Havenview also incorporates 3 sustainable development criteria: Sidewalks, substantial active open space, and design with trees. There are 2 proposed wetland impacts and no lots shown with the floodplains.
