Pulte nearing completion of development in Berkshire Forest

Berkshire Forest is a new home community in Carolina Forest, South Carolina that is in its final stages of development.  Locals will identify Berkshire Forest as a community that originally began development under the name of Centex.  Pulte then merged with Centex back in 2009.  Homes in the Berkshire Forest community of Carolina Forest subsequently began to be built under the brand name of Pulte.  Pulte first starting selling homes in Berkshire Forest way back in 2005 – almost 20 years ago!

(UHG), announced that it acquired the homebuilding business and assets of Creekside Custom Homes, LLC, a home builder and land developer in the Coastal region of South Carolina. Shellwood is a brand new community offering single family homes in Little River. Lennar owns this 15.73 acres of land in Little River just north of Highway 17. Preliminary estimates are that Lennar will be building approximately 85 single family homes in the new home community of Shellwood in Little River. As of April 2024, development is just starting.

Jordan Grove is a new home community in Conway which has not yet begun development as of April 2024. Horry County government has approved the development of 93 single family homes on an approximate 70 acre piece of land that sits close to the intersection of Highway 22 and Highway 701. Mungo Homes owns the land on the east side of Highway 701, less than a mile from the Highway 22 and Highway 701 interchange. Traditions at Carolina Forest will be one the last new home communities to be built on the northwest side of River Oaks Drive in Carolina Forest.  Traditions at Carolina Forest is being developed adjacent to D. In February of 2024, Chris Manning Communities sold the approximately 100 acre piece of land that currently houses the remaining 18 holes of the River Oaks Golf Course to Mungo Homes. There are plans to build approximately 220 single family homes on this parcel of land.
