Inlet Keys is a new home community coming to Murrells Inlet!

The single-family homes in Inlet Keys by Beazer are projected to start selling in February 2025.  Beazer has not yet announced pricing for the single-family homes in Inlet Keys in Murrells Inlet.

Inlet Keys is conveniently located close to both Tournament Boulevard and McDowell Shortcut Road near Highway 17.

Inlet Keys will be developed adjacent to the existing community of Evans Park in Murrells Inlet.

Carolina Forest is an unincorporated area west of Myrtle Beach and east of Conway.  More specifically, Carolina Forest is west of the Intercoastal Waterway and between Highway 501 and International Drive.

Berkshire Forest, with 925 single-family homes and 950 multi-family homes is the largest community in Carolina Forest.

Lennar now selling in Indigo Creek!

Lennar is now actively selling single family homes in Indigo Creek!  Pricing of the single-family homes in Indig Creek is starting at $521,000.  This new phase in Indigo Creek by Lennar will consist of about 30 single-family homes

Indigo Creek is an established golf community in the heart of Murrells Inlet directly off of McDowell Shortcut Road.

The master planned community of Indigo Creek has 595 single family homes approved for development as per the Horry County government. As of October 2024, 294 single family homes have been constructed and an additional 301 single family homes remain to be developed.

East Cox Ferry Townhomes in Conway

A new townhome community could be coming soon to Conway!  The East Cox Ferry Townhomes are planning to be constructed near the Highway 378 and Highway 501 intersection across Highway 501 from the Coastal Carolina University.  This new townhome community would be adjacent to Wild Wing Plantation and Coast Point West (a Mungo Homes community).

Current plans are showing about 19 buildings and approximately 75 townhomes.

On November 18, 2024 a request to annex approximately 11.17 acres of property located on East Cox Ferry Road near the intersection of Bellamy Road was presented along with a rezoning request.

Horry County Special Sales and Use Tax - APPROVED

On November 5, 2024, Horry County voters approved the “Horry County Special Sales and Use Tax” (also known as the Penny Tax) in the amount of one percent to be imposed in Horry County for not more than twenty-five (25) years or until a total of $6,350,000,000 in resulting revenue has been collected, whichever occurs first.

The sales tax proceeds will be used to fund the costs of highways, roads, streets, bridges, and other transportation-related projects facilities, including but not limited to drainage facilities related thereto, and mass transit systems.

This property is located directly across McDowell Shortcut Road from another new D. R. Horton community - Ranch Haven. This new subdivision of Havenview in Murrells Inlet is adjacent to the Indigo Creek Golf Club and near the International Club.

Heron Pointe by D. R. Horton

The Heron Point Golf Club off of Blue Heron Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, first opened in 1988.  Willard Byrd was the architect who designed this true links style golf course reminiscent of many of the old Scottish courses.  The Heron Point Golf Club closed at the end of 2014 as the club had been struggling financially and was in desperate need of some capital improvements.

Nearly a decade later, the last pieces of land on this once 155-acre Heron Point Golf Club property off of SC 707 have been sold off for development.  In August of 2023, D. R. Horton purchase over 80 acres on the last part of which used to be the Heron Point Golf Club.
